Campus ChampionStudent Government Association (SGA) President Jamie Piperato appreciates the monumental time commitment awaiting the winners of this week’s student elections, which take place Thursday and Friday through myRedDragon. The senior kinesiology major from Thiells, N.Y., spends up to 30 hours a week on her presidential responsibilities, which range from small campus events to giant, long-term projects. She worked with others to set up the first-ever SGA President’s Luncheon, a swearing-in ceremony to introduce newly elected representatives to the students, faculty and staff members they eventually will work with. “We’re a team of leaders,” said Jamie, a dedicated one herself.
