Campus ChampionA power outage can throw a wrench in any person's day. But for College Physical Plant workers, the ones in charge of locating the issue and fixing it, a power outage takes on a whole new meaning. Fortunately, SUNY Cortland has Mike Woodworth in charge. The maintenance supervisor and his dedicated team worked continuously for more than 70 hours during a recent outage, restoring power faster than anyone thought was possible. In his 31 years at the College, damage from floods, storms and other emergencies has gone fairly unnoticed on campus. For this, we can thank Mike and the physical plant team. Tuesday, June 17J.P.
