Capture the Moment

SUNY Cortland President Erik J. Bitterbaum greets keynote speaker Yusuf Muhammad, Jr. ’99, M ’01, at the Kente Celebration held April 6 in Corey Union. Muhammad is the founding principal of the STEAM Academy at George Washington Carver High School in Atlanta, Ga. He addressed the more than 100 students, along with faculty, staff, families and friends. The ceremony celebrates African intellectual culture for the learners and scholars who are transitioning from college to the next chapter of their lives. Read more
