Curriculum is at the heart of the college experience and we encourage curricular innovation and development in majors, minors, concentrations, and in our General Education program. The office of Academic Affairs is here to help you create and revise curriculum, navigate the required approval processes, and collaborate for a smooth implementation.
The most successful proposals involve communication with academic departments and consultation with offices about implementation and impact in the planning phases. All proposals are submitted for faculty governance review through the online Curriculog system. For some program revisions and all new programs, we also need SUNY and New York State Education Department approval.
The resources on this page will help you understand the processes and policies related to your curriculum proposals. In addition, you are always welcome to contact us to discuss your ideas and ask for additional information. We look forward to working with you!
