About:
Our professional tutors work by appointment. Rather than provide answers and edit work, professional tutors use questioning techniques designed to help students develop critical and reflective thinking skills.
Our professional tutors, who are learning specialists, have advanced degrees, years of academic support and classroom experience, and expertise in the discipline of tutoring and learning support. In addition to tutoring students one-on-one, our professional tutors serve as coordinators for The Learning Center’s student-led programs and work to recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, improve and innovate in ways that reflect the best practices and ethical standards of the discipline.
