The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter at SUNY Cortland was started in 2015 and is part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.8 million members.

How was I selected?
Students are selected based on academic achievement and leadership potential. As of 2023, we have 3,542 members who have access to:
- Nearly $500,000 in scholarships.
- An exclusive NSLS job board.
- A personalized letter of recommendation.
What do I have to do to become inducted?
Our four-step program takes approximately 8 hours over the course of the semester at your pace.
The four steps to induction include:
- Orientation
- Leadership Training Day
- Speaker Broadcast Events featuring webcasts of some of the world's most successful motivational speakers
- Three Success Networking Team Meetings
