Spring 2026 Outdoor Pursuits Trips

We've got a huge semester of trips and workshops ahead of us and we want to see you there! From the mountains of Vermont to the Swamps of the Everglades, we've got an adventure for you! Day Trips

Salmon River Ice Climbing

"What's cooler than being cool? Ice Climbing!" at least I think those are the lyrics. Anyway, join us for this awesome intro to ice climbing at Salmon Falls!

Cross Country Skiing

Start the semester off with a day of cross-country skiing at Lime Hollow Nature Center! Perfect for everyone from beginners to experts.

Valentine's Ice Skating

Want something fun to do this Valentine’s day? Join us as we head up to Clinton Square to skate the night away!

Snowshoe Hiking

Have you tried hiking and thought to yourself “Man, I wish this was a little harder and a lot colder?” Well now’s your chance! Join us as we Snowshoe at Tinker Falls, a true winter wonderland!

Ithaca Hikes

Stretch out those legs after a long winter with a bit of hiking! Join us at the tallest waterfall in NY at Taughannock Falls and then enjoy the peaceful paths of Monkey Run trail.

Overnight Trips

Letchworth Winter Activities

The Grand Canyon of the East...that’s also a winter wonderland! Spend the weekend shoe shoeing and cross country skiing, while spending the night in a toasty warm cabin.

Jay Peak Skiing/Snowboarding

Join us on this gnarly downhill skiing/snowboarding trip at the beautiful Jay Peak Resort in Vermont! The cost reflects lodging and lift ticket, Ski/snowboard rentals will be separate, though we can help you with that process! If you have your own gear then you're good to go.

Lake Placid 

Nothing beats the stark beauty of the Adirondacks in the winter. Join us as we head up to this stunning landscape for a weekend of xc skiing, snowshoeing, and exploring!

Sun Tans and Swamp Lands: Florida Adventure

Tired of the snow and ice of Cortland? Want to have some fun in the sun? Look no further! We’re headed to the classic Spring Break destination, Florida! We’ll be exploring two national parks and tons of locations along the way!

New River Gorge Climbing

Wait, where’s the Ice? That’s right, REGULAR ROCK CLIMBING! Come down south to the warmth of West Virginia to climb some of the best rock on the East Coast!

Shenandoah Backpacking

"Oh, Shenandoah, I long to see you, away, you rolling river." Well long no longer! Come with us as we head down to the awe inspiring Shenandoah National Park for a beautiful backpacking trip full of waterfalls and a rolling river you soon won't forget.

Cuyahoga Hiking

Three national park trips in a row? Crazy! Come for a quick hiking trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio!

Virginia Fishing

You asked, we delivered! We’re going fishing in Virginia, and we couldn’t be more excited. Join us in the peaceful waters of Douthat Sate Park where we’ll find a variety of trout, bass, and catfish!

Bike N Hike

It’s the end of the semester, the light is at the end of the tunnel. And by that, I mean that we’re taking you biking through two tunnels! Join us on this 30 mile rail trail (No big hills!) that passes through some of the most beautiful terrain of Pennsylvania. Don’t have a bike? No Problem! We’ve got you covered!

Lead Clinic

Date: March 10th, March 25th .
Meeting time: 6pm
Meeting Place: Climbing Wall, Student Life Center

Take your climbing to the next level with this lead climbing clinic! Must be belay certified prior to the clinic and be able to climb the top rope wall multiple times.

Cortland Top Rope  Competition

Date: April
Meeting Place: Climbing Wall, Student Life Center

The Cortland Top Rope Competition is returning to campus! Earn points for each climb you do. Your top climbs could win you a prize and a seat on the podium!
