School of Professional Studies

In Professional Studies, our vision is to provide an exceptional undergraduate and graduate educational experience through the integration of classroom theory with transformational experiences, such as undergraduate and graduate research, international experiences, clinical practice, internships, student teaching and service-learning. We seek to prepare culturally sensitive and competent professionals who will graduate with the knowledge and skills to be effective representatives of positive change for individuals, their communities, and the environment.

Professional Studies houses six academic departments that are committed to providing the highest quality experiences in teacher preparation and a variety of professional programs. With our outstanding faculty, facilities, and applied learning experiences, our academic programs are held in the highest regard throughout New York State, across the country, and internationally.
