Cast Announced for Musical ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’

The Performing Arts Department has announced the cast for its spring production of the musical comedy spoof “The Drowsy Chaperone,” which will be performed March 25 through April 3 in the Dowd Fine Arts Center Theatre. Tickets go on sale at Jodi’s Hallmark & Trends, 11 Main St., Cortland, on March 1 and will be available at the door before each performance.

Faculty Recital Features Trumpet and Piano

A recital featuring music associated with the career of the Moscow trumpeter, Timofei Dokshizer, will be performed by SUNY Cortland Performing Arts Department faculty members on Tuesday, Nov. 2. Ralph Dudgeon will play trumpet and Marina Gorelaya will perform on piano beginning at 8 p.m. in the Dowd Fine Arts Center Theatre. The recital is free and open to the public.

The Performing Arts Department has announced the cast for its October production of the Cole Porter Broadway musical comedy “Kiss Me, Kate.” The play will be performed Friday, Oct. 22, through Sunday, Oct. 31, in the Dowd Fine Arts Center Theatre. Tickets go on sale Oct. 1 at Jodi’s Hallmark Shop on Main Street.
