The Marketing Office will assist with creating print and digital advertisements representing SUNY Cortland.

Please complete the Project Request Form to begin the process and allow six weeks for production.

Advertising on the SUNY Cortland campus is permitted within specific guidelines. For more information, please review the Campus Advertising Policy.

Promoted social media posts

The Marketing Committee is continuing its initiative to help departments attract students to their programs. 

We’re offering to reimburse up to $100 each fiscal year for promoted posts on your department’s Facebook or Instagram accounts. 

How do I get started?

  • Create an interesting post that would appeal to new students. 
    Examples could be something exciting your department is doing, an upcoming event, a prestigious award, etc. 
    Use high-quality, attention-getting photos.
  • Next, complete the Promoted Social Media Post form
  • Once approved, use your department’s procurement card to pay for the post.
  • Submit your receipt and we will reimburse your department up to $100.

Digital Ads

Each year, the Digital Advertising Marketing Subcommittee runs a small number of ads geared toward recruitment. These are typically Google Ads, but we occasionally use other platforms.

If you'd like your academic program to be considered, complete the Digital ad proposal form.
