Fight Your Fears Workshop: Facing Social Fears is a mindful approach to connection. Do you feel nervous meeting new people? Understand why fears are normal. Learn mindfulness-based grounding practices. Gain confidence to build authentic connections.

Starts Tuesday September 30th @ 2:30 pm at the Exhibition Lounge in Corey. If you would like more information please email Gail.Boone@Cortland.edu

Mind/Body Self-Care Workshops: This series of workshops will start the morning with a light mind/body exercise such as stretching and guided meditation followed by a discussion on self-care and compassion. There will be weekly giveaways and raffles for larger prizes advertised on the flyer each week along with that week’s exercise. Begin the day tuning into and taking care of yourself!

Starts Wednesday September 24th @ 8 am in the Mind/Body Room at the Student Life Center. If you would like more information please email Ami.Aiken@Cortland.edu

Monthly Motivation Workshop: Are you looking for ways to increase your motivation? If so, join us in a Monthly Motivation Workshop where students can support one another by sharing ways they stay motivated throughout the academic year. The first workshop will focus on self-awareness with an emphasis on remembering “your why”, reviewing your goals and values, understanding where/when you work best, and reaching out for support when you need it.
Bring your favorite motivational quote to share and we will have post-its to write one down to keep nearby when you need it.

Starts Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, 2:30-3:30 p.m. Corey Union Conference Rm 304 For additional information please contact Stacey Massari at stacey.massari@cortland.edu
