There are several courses available to help you meet your degree requirements in Winter Session 2026! Most Winter Session courses are offered online, so you can complete your courses and earn SUNY Cortland credit from anywhere.

Important Details
- Students can register for 5 credits in Winter Session. Associate deans may approve a student for a credit overload of 6. Students will be directed to take at least one course in the 5-week term and are not permitted to take both courses in the 2-week term. Please note that the terms are very condensed!
- Visit the Winter Session website for more information, including tuition and fees.
- Registration for Winter Session opens with your spring semester time ticket. Register early to guarantee a seat in the course, as seats fill quickly and some courses close in the winter!
